History
Lohaar Engineering and Construction Pvt. Ltd. was established in 2015, building on a rich foundation of experience in industrial, commercial, and public projects since the late 1990s. The company's chairman envisioned a turnkey solution services provider that could address the many challenges inherent in the Indian engineering and construction sectors.
Starting a new venture in India was no small feat due to the lack of innovative materials, cutting-edge technologies, and skilled developers. Entrepreneurs, industrialists, and government entities faced numerous obstacles at various stages of design, construction, and project execution. Our founder keenly observed these challenges and was driven by a vision to transform the landscape of Indian infrastructure.
In discussions with his eldest son, the founder outlined his aspirations for a company that would not only drive infrastructure development but also stimulate business growth and create employment opportunities nationwide. Inspired by his father's vision and his own background as a mechanical engineer, deeply rooted in the family tradition and craftsmanship spirit, he proposed the name "LOHAAR."
Thus, Lohaar Engineering and Construction Pvt. Ltd. was born in 2015, blending decades of experience with a fresh, innovative approach to engineering and construction in India.

The history of the company belongs to its current Chairman, Mr. Shahid Hussain, who was born into a prosperous family on January 1, 1967, in Missarwala village, Kashipur, in the district of Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand.

In 1988, Mr. Hussain completed his studies and entered the business profession, becoming a disciple of Mr. Ahamad where he learned mechanical disciplines and engineering. In 1990, he married the daughter of Mr. Sattar Lohaar.

In 1991, he undertook his first major project at Srinagar Garhwal through UP RAJKIYA NIRMAN NIGAM LTD., involving the construction of a Degree College, which took two years to complete.

In 1993, he founded his firm, S.A. ENGINEERING WORKS. In 1994, he secured his second major project from DSM SUGAR (KASHIPUR) LIMITED for the fabrication and erection of sugar Godowns.

From 1996 to 2003, he completed projects for over 12 industries, including major projects in the sugar industry such as RANA SUGARS LTD., TRIVENI SUGAR MILL, MEERGANJ SUGAR, and CHANDANPUR SUGAR MILLS LTD.

In 2004, he worked on an ingot manufacturing factory. In 2005, he undertook a project from INDIA GLYCOLS LIMITED for the RAB Unit. In 2007, he secured a project from GVN MATERIAL HANDLING PVT. LTD.
From 2010 to 2014, he established a fabrication plant and undertook PEB with Civil projects for CENTURY PULP AND PAPER IND. LTD., KASHI VISWANATH TEXTILE MILL LTD., SHRI SHNDAR SNACKS PVT. LTD., KATYAYINI PAPER MILLS PVT. LTD. and other companies.
By 2015, his firm had earned a reputation for completing numerous projects and securing several ongoing ones. It was at this point that he decided to expand his business nationwide, discussing this vision with his son, who proposed the title "LOHAAR."
